The unique difference with Selah Solutions, LLC is: The time will be utilized to focus on YOUR specific surgery. The education process will also focus on its potential impact on the patient physically, mentally, and emotionally. The educational services are provided by a certified bariatric counselor. This session is individualized, which provides you with (1)a more significant opportunity to ask questions, (2) a better use of time to focus on you, and (3) gain a personalized response regarding your situation. Ability to have this personalized session in a personal and judge-free setting.

Currently, this is a self-pay service. All major credit cards are welcome, and payment plans are unique to this service.

A minimum of two sessions are required. Before your appointment, it is imperative that you complete all the required documents forwarded to you. During your initial appointment, the Counselor will review the documents with you and ask additional questions to complete the assessment. The next appointment will focus on a review of the assessment and individualized education. The final appointments are coaching sessions based on the plan you select.

The assessment process can take up to 1.5 hours each session. This comprehensive service allows the patient to ask questions and gain responses to feel confident regarding the upcoming procedure.

Coaching services are offered to prepare you for the upcoming mental, emotional, and physical changes you will experience. This service is unique to Selah Solutions, LLC, as most surgeon offices and bariatric offices do not offer individualized therapy services but rather support groups. These sessions allow you to process your emotions regarding your new body image, mental fortitude, and emotional stability in a non-judgmental and safe space. Sessions are facilitated by a dually Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Bariatric Counselor.
