Unfortunately, insurance benefits are not accepted, and payment for the assessment must be paid in full before your scheduled appointment. Various payment options are available for the treatment classes if needed.

Although this program is accepted nationwide, participants are strongly encouraged to check with their respective program, referral source, court, or legal representative to verify acceptance of the program and its criteria before enrollment.

• The ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Assessment is a tool that will assist in determining your treatment needs coupled with your responses and information obtained from your referral source.

• A licensed substance abuse Provider will facilitate the assessment.

• A clinical treatment recommendation will be offered after the assessment.

• The treatment outcome will be provided to your program, court, and legal representative.

The class provides an enriched learning experience to raise awareness of the effects of alcohol while addressing topics such as Facts and Myths about Drug use, Decision Making, and Changes vs. Consequences.

In-person classes are held weekly for a minimum of six weeks. Prompt attendance and completed assignments are expected for each session.

An experienced Licensed Professional Treatment Provider teaches the class. The Facilitator has met all the requirements of the Board of Counseling and the Commission on Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program.

Participants must utilize the required treatment workbook and be willing to engage in the treatment group discussions.
